Deb Heffner

Position
Deb currently serves as the Business Outreach Director for Greater Reading Economic Partnership (GREP). GREP’s mission is to recruit new businesses to Greater Reading and help existing businesses retain and grow jobs. In her role, she serves as the director of GREP’s Business Expansion & Growth initiative, working with existing businesses to help them prosper and connect them to resources. Additionally, she serves as the primary person for all prospect outreach which includes attending conferences and tradeshows, relationship management, and site visits.  As the fiscal manager she oversees all accounting functions, grant writing, and membership coordination.

Professional & Education History
Deb earned the designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) in 2016.  In 2013, she was awarded the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) Fellow designation.  Deb has attended various higher education institutions including; Alvernia University, Georgia Tech, Kutztown University, and Penn State.
