Maine Drilling and Blasting has broken ground on a new regional facility in Bethel, Pennsylvania, located in Berks County.  Construction is scheduled to be completed in May 2015. Maine Drilling and Blasting Logo

Once completed, the facility will provide administrative, material storage and maintenance support to the  Company’s operation. Finished space will include offices for approximately eight administrative personnel, a storage area for deliveries, parts, tools and small supplies, and a three-bay maintenance garage for heavy equipment and vehicle repair.

“Maine Drilling & Blasting’s capital investment in this new regional facility,” states President and CEO, Bill Purington, “will better support our commitment to continued growth and local customer service to the Mid-Atlantic region. This market offers great potential for us, and the businesses and contractors here deserve nothing less than our best efforts and resources at the ready.”

The company stated This move furthers the Company’s commitment to being a local presence in order to better support customers by providing the best services at the most effective costs. MD&B is anxious to move from its interim location in Myerstown, PA to its new facility.
