World Trade Center of Harrisburg
The World Trade Center of Harrisburg promotes international trade by providing networking and educational programs, technical assistance, trade information, and referral services.
Greater Reading Economic Partnership works closely with the World Trade Center of Central Pennsylvania to connect local companies in Greater Reading with opportunities and resources to expand their business into the global marketplace.
Foreign Trade Zone 147
Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) 147 is considered outside the customs territory of the United States for the purposes of duty payment. Under zone procedures, the usual formal customs entry procedure and payment of duties are not required on merchandise unless it enters customs territory for domestic consumption, in which case the importer has a choice of paying duties on the original foreign material or the finished product. Manufacturers Resource Center
The Manufactures Resource Center (MRC) provides access to specialized coaching, mentorship and a variety of business and marketing assistance normally outside the reach of most manufacturers. MRC is dedicated to creating jobs and economic opportunity in eastern Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley and Schuylkill, Carbon and Berks counties.
