Reading Area Community College
Located in dowtown Reading along the Schuylkill River, Reading Area Community College (RACC) has an enrollment of more than 5,000 students. In addition, the college serves 25,000 people per year through the non-credit workforce development/community education division. 
RACC plays a crucial role in the business community by providing customized training for local employers. The Schmidt Training and Technology Center provides training in senior leadership, manufacturing technology, information technology, and workforce development. The college also offers a degree in Mechatronics in collaboration with Purdue University in Indiana.
And RACC is also home to the Miller Center for the Arts - a state-of-the-art theatre that hosts a variety of national and international performing arts groups throughout the year.
